Team World Cup (Comming April 2010)
After the introduction of the new countries, we have decided to realize also an international competition. This is the Team World Cup a counterpart of the national cup competition. Here are the most important data on the Team World Cup:
- Mode: Only one game per round, including extra time and penalties (if no winner is decided after regular time).
- Number of participants: 8192 teams. So the cup has 13 rounds.
- Qualification: The 8192 best-placed teams in the world rankings are qualified.
- Match day: The Team World Cup is played on a weekly basis every Tuesday. Who else played a part in the World Cup, can not play a friendly at this day!
- Revenue: As the extra competition also brings with it additional revenue. Therefore the number of spectators in cup matches (nationally and internationally)
will be reduced in order to ensure the financial balance of this game. - Launch date: next season.
